Nykoma comes from the Akan phrase Nya Akoma, meaning "Take Heart." It is rooted in the Adinkra tradition of the Akan people of Ghana, West Africa, a visual philosophy system where symbols encode proverbs, values, and principles that have guided communities for centuries.
The Akoma symbol represents patience, endurance, goodwill, and faithfulness. In Akan culture, to say someone "has heart" is to say they possess the courage and patience to see difficult things through. To say someone "lacks heart" is to say they give up too easily.
We chose this name because building what we are building requires heart. Nykoma is not another consulting firm following the same playbook, chasing the same clients, and delivering the same PowerPoint decks. We are building a global consulting firm of African heritage, a firm that proves world-class enterprise technology consulting can be delivered with African roots, African presence, and an African perspective on what these markets actually need.

With credentials from Harvard and Northeastern University, and deep expertise across the ServiceNow ecosystem, he founded Nykoma to bring world-class consulting to the enterprises and communities that have historically been underserved by the global technology industry.
